Henry could leave Barca in January

MADRID, Sept 27: Unsettled Barcelona striker Thierry Henry was on Saturday tipped by the Spanish media for a winter return to the English Premier League.

The France international joined Barca after an eight year spell with Arsenal in a 24 million euro deal in 2007, but has largely failed to make his mark and on Friday he told a local radio station about his desire to see more of his daughter, who lives in London.

“At the moment I’m not thinking about leaving,” Henry told Radio Catalunya according to Saturday’s AS daily.

He added: “But sometimes things happen in your life that you’re not thinking about.

“Obviously my life is in London because I have my daughter there,”AS declared that Henry intimated he could leave Barca “in January” at the next transfer window.—AFP
