KARACHI, Sept 27: Leg-spinner Shahzaib Khan finished the proceedings with a magnificent 16-wicket haul as Karachi Blues notched up an innings and two runs victory over Quetta on the third and final day of their PCB Inter-region Under-19 Cricket Championship match at the PCB Academy Ground on Saturday.

Lanky Shahzaib, who captured seven wickets for 63 in Quetta’s first innings, again proved to be their tormentor with his turning deliveries as he finished with even better output of nine wickets for 52 in 25.5 overs to return with magical match figures of 16-115.

Quetta, who resumed their second innings on Saturday at the overnight score of 101 for three, added just 68 runs to the total before being crashed to 169 all out.

Taimur Khan finished unbeaten on 56 with seven boundaries at the other end as wickets kept falling regularly at the other end.

With this win, Karachi Blues collected full nine points to raise their tally to 21 points in five matches with two wins and three draws.
