Sarfraz shines
KARACHI, Sept 22: Pakistan wicket-keeper Sarfraz Ahmed hit an impressive half-century to steer the KESC to the AKG Ramazan Twenty20 cricket tournament semi-finals, as they beat Korangi Friends by eight wickets at the AKG Ground on Sunday.
Batting aggressively, Sarfraz struck five boundaries and two sixes during his match-winning knock of 57 as the KESC reached the target of 100 with 26 balls remaining.
Earlier, Rizwan Khan claimed three wickets for just 13 runs to restrict Korangi Friends to a modest 99 for eight in their allotted 20 overs.
