Three blast victims laid to rest in Jhang

JHANG, Sept 21: Three cousins killed in Marriot Hotel blast in Islamabad on Saturday were buried in Chak 463 Hasan Shah, some 15 kilometres away from here, on Sunday.

Khurshid Ahmed, 28, was doing job in a private firm in Islamabad and was living in the servants’ lodge of Kashmir House with his father who was employed there.

Ishrat, 15, was studying in an Islamabad school and was living with his father who was a security guard in the Frontier House.

Mohammad Ali, 16, had recently gone to Islamabad on a recreational trip and was putting up with his cousin Khurshid.

The three cousins were present near the main entrance of Marriot Hotel when the blast occurred.

The bodies were brought to Jhang on Sunday morning and buried in the Hasan Shah graveyard in the afternoon in the presence of a large number of mourners.
