DADU: PML-N wants corruption cases against ex-ministers

By Our Correspondent

DADU, Sept 19: Provincial president of PML-N women wing Sourath Theabo has said that corruption cases should be lodged against the former ministers of PML-Q government who had minted billions of dollars during their tenure.

Talking to journalists at the press club here on Friday during her visit to Dadu and Jamshoro district, she said that due to economic crises and poverty, youths were committing suicides. She said that in interior of Sindh, feudals were killing women in the name of honour to achieve their ulterior motives. She said that stern action should be taken against these feudal elements.

She said that PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif would visit Sindh soon. She said that now democratic government has been established in the country and expressed the hope that all basic rights would be given to the people on priority basis. She said that government should announce a financial package for the poor people of Sindh to eliminate poverty to a certain extent.

She alleged that police were adopting delaying tactics to protect feudal lords involved in the murder of TV journalist Mohammad Azim Leghari. She demanded that the killer of TV journalist should be arrested immediately.

During her visit, she held a meeting with PML-N women wing leaders in Dadu, Bhan Syedabad and other towns.
