Lawson and Dwyer extend leave

By Our Sports Reporter

LAHORE, Sept 18: Pakistan cricket team coach Geoff Lawson and trainer David Dwyer who were to return on Wednesday after spending 10 days in their home country Australia for a brief vacation, have now extended their stay there till Sept 27.

A Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official confirmed that both the officials were scheduled to come back on Sept 17 but as there was no domestic and international cricket going on here, they have decided to extend their stay in Australia.

Lawson and Dwyer, who’s two-year tenure commenced in July last year, also feels vulnerable after the previous chairman Dr Nasim Ashraf’s resignation on August 18.
