Hasan shines at AKU event
KARACHI, Sept 18: Leg-spinner Hasan Abbas in a deadly spell claimed five wickets for ten runs to bowl Standard Chartered Bank to a seven-wicket win over Inbox Cricket Club in the fourth AKU Twenty20 Ramazan cricket tournament at the AKU Ground on Wednesday.
Hasan finished with excellent figures of five wickets for 10 in four overs as Inbox CC, batting first, could only reach 120-9 in the allotted 20 overs. Faraz Siddiqui made 28 with two fours and a six.
Standard Chartered, in reply, posted 121 for three in their 20 overs. Azmat Ali and Adnan Akhtar scored 33 each.
