Arif Abbasi’s car attacked

KARACHI, Sept 18: The driver of Arif Abbasi, a former managing director of the Pakistan International Airlines and ex-chief executive of the Pakistan Cricket Board, was wounded when two men shot him while

Mr Abbasi’s car was stuck in a traffic jam on the National Highway. Mr Abbasi remained unhurt in the attack.

Injured Waris Masih was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where doctors said he had sustained a bullet wound in his abdomen from a very close range as the bullet tore through his body.

Arif Abbasi told Dawn that his car was stuck in a traffic jam at around 5pm when two men approached his car and asked the driver to open the door.
