Pakistan Masters TT


KARACHI, Sept 17: The last leg of the Pakistan Masters table tennis circuit will be staged at Peshawar from Nov 15 to 17, immediately after completion of third Inter-provincial games in the capital of NWFP.

Top 32 men and as many women are to vie for honours in the singles and team events.

The circuit which provides fierce competition to players was re-launched by the Pakistan Table Tennis Federation (PTTF) at Karachi in March this year. Wapda ‘A’ and Habib Bank ‘A’ won the men’s and women’s team events titles respectively.

Internationals Saleem Abbas landed the men’s singles crown while the women’s singles title went to Sadia Falaksher.

Meanwhile, the domestic activities of the calendar will be rounded off when Lahore play host to the National Table Tennis Championship in December.—Sports Correspondent
