Murder Accused escapes

OKARA, Sept 17: A murder accused managed his escape from the police custody while on way to court from judicial lockup on Wednesday.

Reports said Manzoor alias Bao, a resident of 40/3R, along with other inmates was on way to the sessions court under police custody. He managed to unlock his handcuff and fled. Police tried to chase him but in vain.

After the incident duty constable Abdul Razzaq was arrested.
