KARACHI, Sept 17: Four ships scheduled to load/offload containers, cement and palm oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Wednesday. Meanwhile, three more ships carrying containers, wheat and palm oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Seven ships, Maersk Delmont, Himalia, Nordjna-G, AI-Qawl-yyu, Med Silvador, Chemstar Brave and Karolina, were busy in loading/unloading containers, cement, wheat, rapeseeds, palm oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 63,739 tons comprising 52,784 tons of import and 10,955 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Energy Falcon and Maersk Delmont sailed out while Himalia and Chemstar Brave were expected to leave the port.
