SIALKOT, Sept 16: Police have registered three cases regarding land possession issues in Daska.
Rasheed Ahmad, along with his accomplices, took possession of a 26-marla plot of Fahmeeda Bibi in Satrah on Monday. The accused and his sons also beat up the widow and her daughters.
Police registered a case with no arrest.
Complainant Fehmeeda Bibi said the accused were influential and had threatened her with consequences for reporting the matter to police.
In another related incident, 13 armed men forcibly occupied two kanals of Qurban Ali in Bharokey Kalan and demolished the rooms built there. Sadar police registered a case against Asghar, Ali Ahmad, Mehmood, Zaheer, Arshad Ali and seven others.
In the third incident, Naziran Bibi reported Asif and Imran to the police for beating her and her daughters Uzma, Bushra and Seema and trying to occupy their house in Bhullar, Bambaanwala.
Police registered a case against accused Asif and Imran with no arrest in this regard.
Sialkot District Police Officer Muhammad Ameen said the accused would be brought to task.
