KSE, Bursa Malaysia sign MoU

KARACHI, Sept 16: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) and Bursa Malaysia have announced signing of a memorandum of understanding to establish cooperation ties between Pakistan and Malaysia in relation to development of capital markets.

According to KSE here on Tuesday, the MoU, which was signed by KSE’s managing director Adnan Afridi, and Bursa Malaysia’s chief executive officer Yusli Mohammed Yusoff, is aimed at strengthening and increasing cooperation between both the parties in areas relating to the exchange of expertise and information.

The two parties have also agreed to partner in efforts that will increase awareness on the investment opportunities available in both markets as well as assist in the maintenance of orderly markets in each country.

Speaking on the occasion, Yusli Mohammed Yusoff said that he was pleased with the opportunities this MoU presents as this collaboration allows both Bursa Malaysia and KSE to cooperate in market development and mutual sharing of information.
