KARACHI, Sept 16: Four ships including a wheat carrier with about 33,000 tons of the commodity are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was on the higher side where seven ships, Lady Fatima and Force Ranger to load cement and offload wheat, Mol Admiration, Csav Lonquimay and Seven Seas to unload and load containers, Sea Al-Batross to offload cars and Star Dream, an oil tanker, were accommodated berths after departure of six vessels on Tuesday.

The departing ships were led by Y.M. Invetive, Deja Bhum, H.H. Tide, Navision Bulker, Jesper Arrow and Addarraq, while Sea al-Batross, Seven Seas Aurora, Mol Admiration, Csav Lonquimay, Sea Veteran, Lake Maja, Sea Bridge, Maersk Roue, Pac Altlia, Cape Carrol and Nanos are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was on the higher side where a total tonnage of 116,000 tons comprising 45,124 tons of export and 71,029 tons of import tonnage was handled.
