KARACHI: Reshuffle in Sindh police

KARACHI, Sept 15: A reshuffle was carried out in Sindh Police on Monday with the issuance of transfer/posting orders of PSP, DSP and SP of grade 17, 18, 19.

The officers concerned have been asked to report to their new place of posting with immediate effect.

Sultan Ali Khowaja, PSP (BS-19) posted as District Police Office (DPO) Larkana has been transferred to Thatta as DPO against an existing vacancy. Ahmed Yar Chohan PSP (BS-18) awaiting posting has been transferred to Larkana as DPO.

Munir Ahmed Shaikh, PSP (BS-18), awaiting posting has been transferred to Mirpurkhas as DPO vice Mazhar Nawaz Shaikh, PSP, who has been directed to report to the CPO.

Iqbal Dara, PSP (BS-18), DPO Tharparkar/Mithi, has been directed to report to CPO.

Tahir Ahmed Noorani, DSP (BS-17), has been transferred from CCP, Karachi, to take the charge of SP Investigation, Nawabshah against an existing vacancy.

Abdul Qayyoom Pitafi SP (BS-18), SP Investigation, District Shikarpur, has been placed at the disposal of the Capital City Police, Karachi until further orders.

Masroor Ahmed Jatoi, DSP (BS-17), has been transferred from Hyderabad region to take the charge of SP Investigation, Ghotki vice Mohammad Anwar Bugti, DSP, who has been directed to report to the RPO, Sukkur.

Fida Hussain Mastoi, PSP (BS-18), DPO Badin, has been given the additional charge of DPO, Tharparker/Mithi.

SHO punished

The capital city police officer (CCPO), Karachi, Wasim Ahmed, has suspended SHO of Jackson, Chaudhry Shah Mahmood, for his failure to control growing incidents of dacoities, robberies and street crimes in the jurisdiction of the Jackson police station.—PPI
