NAWABSHAH, Sept 14: Journalists of Nawabshah condemned an armed attack on Shahpur Jehanian Press Club and demanded immediate arrest of people involved.

At a meeting held here on Sunday, the journalists said that armed men belonging to an influential landlord of the area, attacked the Shahpur Jehanian Press Club, damaged its furniture and thrashed the president of press club Manthar Dahiri, general secretary Abdul Aziz Channa and another journalist Haji Mohammed Haroon.

They demanded of the acting district nazim and the district police officer to take notice of the incident and direct the local police to arrest the culprits and register an FIR.

The journalists of Naushahro Feroze also staged a demonstration to protest attack on Shahpur Jehanian Press Club.
