HYDERABAD, Sept 13: Commission pass lecturers have complained that although more than 600 of them had been issued offer letters but not given posting orders hence creating unrest among them.

Leaders of Commission Pass Lecturers Action Committee, Ayaz Halepoto, Shafique Ahmed Shahani in a statement issued here on Saturday appealed to President Zardari to direct the Sindh government to issue posting orders to lecturers given offer letters.

The refusal by the Sindh government to issue posting orders to lecturers had jeopardised the status of Sindh Public Service Commission, they said and called to respect merit.

They said that many lecturers who resigned from other services after receiving offer letters were the worst sufferers. They said it was inconceivable to reject results of the SPSC in other provinces.

GUL PHUL PUBLISHED: Secretary Sindhi Adabi Board, Prof Syed Zawar Naqvi announced on Saturday that the September edition of Sindhi Adabi Board’s journal “Gul Phul” had been published and available in the market.
