Dawn staffer grieved

LAHORE, Sept 11: Anees Fatima, the mother of Muhammad Saleem, Dawn staff correspondent in Faisalabad, died on Thursday after a protracted illness. She was 53.

She was admitted to Allied Hospital one week ago where she was diagnosed as having abdominal tuberculosis.

She is survived by her husband, Mubarik Ali, and sons Muhammad Saleem, Shahid Mubarik, Muhammad Aslam and Ali Raza.

Her funeral prayers were held at Kamalabad graveyard on Thursday night. Qul will be held at 9am on Friday (today), at house 139, Street 3, Gulistan Cinema Road, Awami Colony, Faisalabad.
