KARACHI: Security ordered


KARACHI, Sept 10: Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfikar Mirza has directed the Karachi CCPO to ensure all possible measures for the safety and security of traders.

He issued the directive after incidents of looting in the New Sabzi Mandi area and the traders’ protest against the police failure to keep a check on criminals.

The home minister ordered effective police patrolling and security in and around the New Sabzi Mandi, especially at its entry/exit points.

He also ordered beefed up security at shopping centres, bachat bazaars, super stores and other such public places.—APP
