Missing man found dead


CHAKWAL, Sept 9: A young man went missing some seven days back was found dead in a pond at village Oudherwal.

Mohammad Nazir told Saddar Police Chakwal that his son Babar Shakeel along with his uncle went to service station of Chaudhary Rafaqat Hussain for service of his truck.

From there Babar Shakeel went to a barber shop to have a shave on 1st Ramzan-ul-Mubarak and did not return. Now after seven days his body was found in a pond at Oudherwal.

Headquarters Hospital Chakwal registered a murder case and started investigation.

ACQUITTED: District and Sessions Judge Chakwal Chaudhary Abdul Qayyum acquitted two accused involved in a murder case by giving them the benefit of the doubt.

According to the prosecution, accused Afsar Ali son of Mohammad Ashraf resident of village Bhoun and Mohammad Dawood son of Mohammad Shafique resident of Choa Saiden Shah murdered AkramSultan, 60, with daggers.

The prosecution failed to prove the case.

LAWYERS STRIKE: The lawyers of District Chakwal observed one-hour token strike to express their solidarity with the deposed Judges on Tuesday.

Member Punjab Bar Council Hassan Raza Pasha said that the complete strike would be observed on September 11 and the lawyers community would protest and would demand the restoration of all the deposed Judges.
