KARACHI, Sept 9: Three ships carrying containers and diesel oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, three more ships to load/unload cement, crude oil and LPG arrived at the outer anchorage during the period under review.

Eight ships were busy in loading and unloading cement, wheat, rapeseeds, palm oil, diesel oil and coal.

The port handled a cargo volume of 75,677 tons comprising 56,749 tons of import and 18,928 tons of export was handled.

Maersk Novazzano, Miynhe, Oram Ability and Babi Tonga sailed out while Shinyo Integrity was expected to depart.
