Asad Younis shines


KARACHI, Sept 7: Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) handed a six-wicket drubbing to Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) in the 23rd Karachi Gymkhana Twenty20 Ramazan Cricket Cup at the KG Ground on Sunday.

Asad Ali Younis, younger brother of Pakistan’s former Test fast bowler Waqar Younis, starred in the RBS triumph with a solid all-round show.

He first snapped up two wickets for 15 runs with his medium pace bowling and later smashed 27 in just 16 deliveries studded with six boundaries.

Imran Nazir made a subdued 27 in 31 balls with two fours.
