TOBA TEK SINGH, Sept 7: Services of dozens of teacher trainers have not been regularised even two years after their appointments.

This was stated by District Teachers Training Educator Association information secretary Farrukh Naseer Alvi in a press conference here on Sunday.

He said educators were recruited in 23 districts, including Toba Tek Singh, on a contract to impart training to primary-level schoolteachers. Due to non-cooperation of the provincial project directorate, appointment letters could not be issued to the educators even after two years. He urged the chief minister to direct the project directorate to issue letters to the educators and regularise services.—Correspondent
