LAHORE, Sept 6: Chief Minister’s Task Force for Industrial Development and SMEs chairman Yawar Irfan Khan has said that industrial estates in Punjab will be upgraded and provision of facilities like roads, sewerage, water supply, gas and telephones will be ensured.

Talking to a delegation of industrialists here on Saturday, he said one-window system was being introduced to provide all the facilities to investors in the industrial estates. A phased programme was also being launched for the upgradation of the industrial estates.

He said the government would also introduce new loan schemes for the promotion of small industries. A comprehensive strategy was being evolved for the development of SMEs and provision of facilities to small industrial units. —Reporter
