Three women, man fall prey to karo-kari

SUKKUR, Sept 5: A man killed his wife, his daughter-in-law and a male relative on the pretext of karo-kari in a village near Jacobabad on Friday.

Ali Sher Jakhrani shot dead his wife Zar Gul, his daughter-in-law Naziran and his relative Ghulam Rasool Bugti on suspicion in Sher Ali Jakhrani village in limits of Saddar police station.

In another incident Sher Mohammad Jakhrani shot dead his wife Rabail Jakhrani on the pretext of karo-kari in the Mauladad area of Jacobabad district. No FIR was registered till filing this report.

Meanwhile, a man along with his wife was shot dead by armed men over old enmity in Gulsher Muhalla, Kandhkot, on Thursday night.

A group of armed people barged into the house of Naseer Sawand and opened fire, killing Naseer Sawand and his wife Kamalan on the spot.

Police shifted the bodies to civil hospital, Kandhkot for post-mortem, but no case was registered.

Local people claiming that the double murder was a result of on going dispute between two groups of the Sawands and the Sabzois.

BODY FOUND: A bullet-riddled body of a kidnap victim was found at agriculture land in the outskirts of Rohri on Friday.

Mirza Solangi was kidnapped by armed men from Sangi town on Thursday night.

Neither a case registered nor the reason for the murder ascertained.
