PML-N meeting on 5th
ISLAMABAD, Sept 2: Pakistan Muslim League-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif has summoned a meeting of his party’s legislators at the Punjab House on
Sept 5.
Party sources said the meeting would discuss matters relating to the presidential election.
Members of parliament, they said, would be taken into confidence on talks recently held with the PML-Q, the sources said.
The two sides have held several meetings in Islamabad to explore the possibility of fielding a joint candidate.
The meeting would also discuss the party’s ties with the federal government and the political situation in Punjab.—APP
