Many phone lines in Jacobabad out of order

JACOBABAD, Sept 2: Hundreds of telephone lines are out of order in Jacobabad causing problems to subscribers.

Hundreds of complaints have piled up with the Jacobabad telephone exchange but the PTCL authorities did not pay any heed to the subscribers complaints.

This correspondent’s repeated efforts to contact the Divisioinal Engineer (DE) and the Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) remained futile.

Businessmen and domestic subscribers expressed their concern over the PTCL officials’ failure to rectify faults.

The subscriber threatened that if PTCL authorities did not respond them positively, they would be compelled to launch a protest drive. For more than three months, PTCL lines in Jacobabad are out of order making the people to suffer.

Sources in local telephone exchange said that phone lines of influential people were working properly.
