Overdraft turned into loan
QUETTA, Sept 1: The State Bank on Monday agreed to convert the overdraft of the Balochistan government into soft loan and freeze its mark-up.
“With this decision of the State Bank, the province will save around Rs750 million annually,” sources said.
The decision was taken at a meeting attended by SBP Governor Dr Shamshad Akhtar and financial managers of the province.—Staff Correspondent
