Ramazan begins
ISLAMABAD, Sept 1: The Ramazan moon was sighted on Monday, heralding the advent of the holy month.
An announcement about the sighting of the moon was made by the chairman of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, Mufti Muneebur Rehman.
He said the committee had received sufficient evidence about the sighting of the moon from various parts of the country.
