OKARA, Sept 1: A youth was shot dead after his nikah ceremony over some minor issue in Asadullahpur village on Monday.

Reports said Ashfaq Ahmad was present outside his house when Zafar Dogar came there and opened fire on him, killing him on the spot.

Deepalpur Sadar police have registered a case.

MURDER CASE: After 10 months, a man got registered a case against three persons for murdering his son in Mirzapur village.

Reports said Allah Rakha suspected that Abid had relations with his wife. He along with his accomplices Ashiq and Siraj Din had taken Abid with him on some pretext to a deserted place and then tortured him to death. Later, they crushed the body of Abid under the wheels of a tractor to show that the accident caused his death.

A few days ago, Allahyar came to know about the real cause of his son’s death and he had a case registered against accused Allah Rakha, Ashiq and Siraj Din at Deepalpur Sadar police station.
