LAHORE, Aug 31: The Punjab Flour Mills Association (PFMA) will move courts against the provincial government for taking 72 mills into its control.
PFMA Chairman Habibur Rehman Leghari said this while addressing a press conference here on Sunday.
He said that the millers had also decided to go on strike for an indefinite period against what he called “illegal acts” of the Punjab government. No group or individual from the millers side would make contact with the government in this regard, he added.
The PFMA chairman said that the millers were willing to ensure smooth supply of flour to the masses during Ramazan but the acts of the provincial authorities had disturbed the situation.—APP
