Cellphones seized from prisoners
MULTAN, Aug 31: Jail authorities, in a special operation, recovered 380 mobile phones, 69 SIMs, 21 chargers, 56 radios and three TV sets from convicts and under-trial prisoners in jails across the province.
Inspector General of Prisons, Punjab, Mian Farooq Nazeer told APP that police search teams, during the last two months, conducted surprise visits to all the prisons in the province and recovered the cell phones along with their accessories.—APP
