Transport project

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Aug 31: The urban transport project will soon be launched in Dera to provide a cheap mode of inter-city transport facility to dwellers.

It is learnt that the provincial government has sought the route plan from the district government for this purpose.

District regional transport authority official Tariq Bokhari said that CNG buses would be run on at least eight inter-city routes, including Choti, Airport, Kot Cchuta, Sakhi Sarwar Shah and Ghazi Ghat.

He further said that a meeting was held to decide the route plan which was attended by representatives of the traffic police, transporters, notables and journalists.
