LAHORE, Aug 30: Former Pakistan Navy striker Amir Hamza once again showed his power of changing the fate of the game when Pak Elektron Limited (PEL) struck twice in the second session to beat Pakistan Television 2-0 in the Pakistan Premier Football League clash at Lahore’s Railway Stadium.

Meanwhile, four-time champion Army neutralized the deficit twice to draw 2-2 with Punjab Medical Collge (PMC at Faisalabad’s PMC Ground.

PMC broke the ice in the 10th minute through smart winger Tanveer ul Hassan but their joy was short-lived as Samundri-born Olympian Jaffar Ali hit back within two minutes for the soldiers. PMC took the lead again in the 44th minute through midfielder Muneer Ahmed.

The Faisalabad outfit kept their lead till interval and the 86th minute. But three minutes from time, Faisalabad-born Muhammad Faryyad gave a sigh of relief to Army’s bench as the tense match ended 2-2.
