KARACHI, Aug 30: The Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan Cricket Trophy starts a couple of days before the advent of the holy month at the AKG Ground here from Sunday.

The tournament, featuring 16 teams divided into four groups, opens with Aga Khan Gymkhana ‘B’ taking on Tapal CC. On the same day, Mohammad Hussain CC will play Aga Khan Gymkhana ‘A. The eventual champions of the event will receive a cash prize of Rs70,000 with the runners-up set to pocket Rs30,000.

Following are the pools: Group ‘A’: A.O. Blues, Remedial Hospital, HBL School, Korangi Friends.

Group ‘B’: Dewan Group, Sky Tower, Qasmi CC, FB Academy.

Group ‘C’: Aga Khan Gymkhana ‘A’, KESC, Mohammad Hussain CC, Ali Sports.
