Fertiliser godowns raided

SUKKUR, Aug 30: Executive District Officer (Revenue) Mustafa Jamal Kazi along with Executive District Officer (Agriculture) Sukkur, Ghulam Murtaza Bugti, raided a godown of a fertiliser dealer namely Asghar opposite Lal Cotton Factory, Rohri and recovered 1,200 bags of fertiliser loaded on trawlers and later sold those fertiliser bags to the growers on government rate.

a truck was intercepted at Massan Road, Rohri and seized 600 bags of fertiliser and sold it to the growers on government rate.

The EDO (Revenue) also held a meeting with the growers and fertiliser dealers and formulated a strategy to ensure availability of fertiliser so that growers could not face any difficulty in getting the same on government fixed rates.

CLASH: One Ali Sher Ghanghro, who suffered injuries in a clash between Ghanghro and Deha communities in Deha village near here four days ago died in Civil Hospital late on Friday night.

Ali Sher had sustained serious wounds in a clash between Deha and Ghanghro communities four days ago and was shifted to the hospital.
