Man killed by landmine

QUETTA, Aug 29: A man was killed when he stepped on a landmine in the Pir Koh area on Friday. The man, belonging to the Bugti tribe, died on the spot and his body had been handed over to relatives, official sources said.

In another incident, five people were injured in a powerful bomb exploded in a bakery in the Surab area of Kalat. “The bakery and two adjacent shops were destroyed,” police said, adding that the injured were taken to the Kalat civil hospital.
