Three bomb disposal personnel injured

QUETTA, Aug 28: Three personnel of the bomb disposal squad of Civil Defence were injured in a mortar shell explosion when they were trying to defuse the device in the Belili area on Thursday.

Police sources said that the personnel were trying to defuse abandoned ammunition of the Crime Branch Police that was destroyed in a rocket attack two weeks ago.

The injured, Mukhtiar Elahi, Sher Ahmed and Abdul Kabir, were taken to the Civil Hospital.
