Driver dies in accident

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Aug 28: A truck driver was killed and six others were injured as a car collided with a stationary truck on the National Highway, near Noorpur, on Thursday.

According to details a car was heading towards Naushahro Feroze and hit a stationary truck. The truck driver, Qamaruddin of Lodhran, died on the spot as he was standing near the vehicle. However, six occupants of the car Mir Ghulam Abbas and his two sons Mumtaz and Faheem, Mir Ghulam Ali, Shabbir and car driver Bashir Ahmed Shar sustained injuries.

The injured were taken to the Civil Hospital Naushahro Feroze.

In another incident, 20-year-old man Allah Ditto was killed by thieves in Rahib Khan Mooro village.
