Actor dies after getting hit by bullet
LARKANA, Aug 27: Sikandar Soomro, an actor, died when one of his co-actors fired on him with a real pistol in the course of recording a scene of a popular Sindhi TV drama serial ‘Pathar Dunya’ in Shaikh Zayed Colony late on Tuesday night.
The actor was hit in the chest and moved to emergency unit of the Chandka Medical College Hospital in precarious condition where he died before getting medical aid.
The relatives of the deceased protested outside Waleed police station and demanded that an FIR be lodged against Sikandar’s co-actors for his murder.
No FIR was registered till the filing of this report.
