By Our Staff Reporter

ISLAMABAD, Aug 27: A man found dead on August 18 has been identified as a driver, who was allegedly killed by his co-worker, police said here on Wednesday.

The residents of Sector F-11/2 had spotted the body in a nullah and after getting information, the police had shifted it to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) for legal process.

An autopsy suggested that the deceased was subjected to severe torture. His nose and ear were severed and the body carried a number of injury marks. The killer(s) also struck him on his head with a blunt weapon, which claimed his life, it added.

The autopsy also revealed that the victim was killed four to five days before the recovery of the body. The deceased was identified as Nadeem Masih by his brother, Saleem Masih, a native of Hyderabad. The police registered a murder case on the complaint of Saleem, who suspected Nadeem’s co-worker of the murder.

Saleem told the police that his brother worked as a driver for Malik Sohail, who along with his family was at present out of the country. Nadeem used to live in his employer house located in F-11 along with the co-worker (QK), a watchman.
