HYDERABAD, Aug 27: About half the students who appeared in examinations for BSc Part-II failed to get through all the subjects, according to result announced by the University of Sindh on Wednesday.

A total of 2,576 of 4,320 candidates passed all the subjects, 221 secured the first class, 2,204 obtained the second and 151 made it to the third while result of 707 candidates had been withheld over objections raised by the conduct and top secret branches, said the result notification.

DATE EXTENDED: The Isra University on Wednesday extended to Aug 29 the date for submission of application forms for admission to various degree programmes in the university.

The admission test would be held on Aug 31 at 10am at Isra University campus on Hala Road and the forms were available at the Isra University admissions office and Soneri Bank Hyderabad, the university said.
