Dead man, child booked

By Our Correspondent

SANGHAR, Aug 26: Police have registered a criminal case against a dead man and a three-year old boy, along with nominating 18 others.

An FIR lodged by the ASI Abdul Jabbar Bhurgari of Sanghar police station revealed that a police party went to Chandni Chowk, Mangria Mohalla to arrest an accused Lalio alias Laloo Bheel. They were attacked by Nawab Mangrio, Yasir Mangrio, Ali Raza, Mohammad Mangrio and 16 others – around 10 unidentified. A case was registered on Monday.

Wazir Khan, Mohammad Bachal Mangrio and others told reporters that a police party was chasing a criminal Laloo who disappeared near their homes.

They said police forcibly entered into the homes and misbehaved with women and children. Police asked the inmates to produce the criminal to which they showed ignorance.

This irked police who in desperation registered a case against 10 known and the same number of unknown people at Sanghar police station.

According to Wazir one of the nominated persons Nawab Khan Mangrio, a councillor, died three years back while another accused Yasir was hardly three years old.

The Mangrio tribesmen alleged police of disregarding the sanctity of Chadar and Chaar Deewari while implicating innocent people in false cases to cover their inefficiency. They said they will seek remedy from the court and will also inform higher authorities.
