By Our Correspondent

MIRAMSHAH, Aug 24: US helicopters shelled suspected hideouts of militants in the Devgar Saidgi area of North Waziristan on Sunday.

According to local people, the helicopters intruded deep into the Pakistani territory and flew low over Zhawar, Danday Saidgi and Devgar Saidgi areas.

Residents said that the helicopters targeted suspected militants’ positions in the Devgar Saidi area. No losses were reported.

Meanwhile, the body of an Afghan man was found in the Kam Sarobi area, seven kilometres from here on Sunday.

A note found strapped to his body said that the man, Bakhta Gul of Khost was ‘involved in spying for the US’. It said that other US spies would meet the same fate.
