KARACHI: Labourer found dead

KARACHI, Aug 24: A 55-year-old labourer was found murdered at his house in Sikandar Goth.

Sachal police registered a case against unknown culprits for killing Fazal Razzaq, son of Hikmat Khan, on the complaint of the victim’s maternal nephew, Mir Alam Khan.

The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where sources said the victim received fatal injuries to his head with some heavy object. The police said the murder seemed to be motivated by some personal enmity.

Cab driver shot dead

A taxi driver was shot dead in Korangi No 5. Korangi Industrial Area police said Azhar Ahmed Khan, resident of Landhi, was found shot dead in his cab at around 4am.

The body was shifted to the JPMC where sources said the 44-year-old victim received three bullets, two in his upper torso and the other in his thigh.
