‘Al Libi’s killers’ executed

MIRAMSHAH, Aug 23: Militants executed two people in North Waziristan on Saturday for their alleged involvement in the assassination of Al Qaeda commander Abu Laith Al Libi.

Sources said Mohib Khan and Jan Wali had been kidnapped about four months ago and interrogated at an unspecified location. They were accused of providing information to the US forces about the presence of the Al Qaeda leader in the area.

Al Libi was killed in a missile attack in the Khushali Turikhel village of North Waziristan on Jan 29 this year.
