KOHAT: ‘Afghan soldier’ executed, claims tribal leader

By Abdul Sami Paracha

KOHAT, Aug 23: The Bangash tribesmen have executed an alleged Afghan soldier who was involved in sectarian clashes in Kurram Agency.

According to a local leader, the tribesmen had captured Musa Khan, resident of Khost, along with other companions with huge quantity of arms, allegedly sent by the Afghan government to be used in the ongoing sectarian violence in the troubled tribal region.

Chairman Parachinar Reforms Committee Haji Sawab Gul Jaji told Dawn that the execution took place at the end of a deadline given to the government to release a video, which they had provided as ‘proof’ of foreign involvement in the sectarian violence in Kurram.
