KARACHI, Aug 22: Five ships including three cement loaders and carrying coal and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was fairly active where eight ships, Rhoneborg, Cosco Dammam, Calvin P. Titus with containers, Iron Butterfly with project cargo, Jin Pu to offload coal, Hawaian Star with crude oil, St. James Park to load ethanol and Pacific Turguoise to load naphtha were berthed.

Six ships, Valiant, Holmen, Al-Salam-2, Ioa, Mare Threcium and Y.M. Increment departed on Friday, while Rhonenorg, Calvin P. Titus, Hawaian Star, Iron Butterfly, Jin Pu and Sea Princess are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 91,195 tons comprising 23,188 tons of export cargo and 68,007 tons of import tonnage was handled on Friday.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Hyundai Admiral with containers, Gingko with coal, Caribbean Carrier Blida to load 17,500 and 23,000 tons of cement and Noor-e-Medina to load 16,000 tons of clinker.
