India alleges shelling from across LoC
SRINAGAR, Aug 21: India said its troops came under mortar fire from across the Line of Control in Kashmir on Thursday.
“Our troops did not retaliate,” Indian army spokesman, Lt-Col S.D. Goswami said. “We are checking whether mortars were fired by terrorists or Pakistani soldiers.”
No one was hurt in the shelling in Rajouri sector along the Line of Control.—Reuters
