QUETTA, Aug 20: A division bench of the Balochistan High Court on Wednesday issued notice to the superintendent of the crimes branch of city police on a petition about a man missing for over two years.

The bench comprises Chief Justice Amanullah Khan Yasinzai and Justice Akhtar Zaman Malghani.

The petitioner, Zar Bibi, requested the court to direct police to trace her son Nazeer Ahmed who was kidnapped in April 2006.

She accused Ghasuddin and his accomplices of kidnapping her son, saying the kidnappers had the support of influential people of the Rind tribe of Bolan.

The hearing was adjourned till Sept 8.—Correspondent
